The public launch of the International Academic Club Hagenberg — what the club is for, who is behind it, and how to be part of it from day one.

Softwarepark Hagenberg is full of brilliant people who rarely cross paths.
This is where they meet.
What IACH is
A non-profit, volunteer-run club where students, researchers, founders and employees of the Softwarepark actually meet each other. Internationals and Austrians alike.
The club is led by Endre Szasz-Revai, who was also president of its predecessor, the International Graduates Club Linz. The initiative for both came from Bruno Buchberger, founder of the Softwarepark. And with IACH we are bringing it back to life in Hagenberg. More about where this came from.
We have a lounge in the IT-Center not only for events, but to drop in, work, study, meet colleagues and hang out. No single institution is at the center. Everyone is part of it.
Know-how moves between companies, institutions and disciplines here. Between research, industry, students and founders. Every conversation is a chance to learn something you couldn't have googled.
If you are from around here, this is your club too. And the welcome is the part we most need help with. A local who makes an introduction, explains how something works, or simply turns up regularly does more for that than any programme we could run.

Monday After-Work Yoga
Seventy-five minutes of yoga straight after work every Monday, led by Alina, open to every level. Register beforehand and bring a mat.

Agentic Engineering Evening
A monthly, practitioner-led evening on agentic engineering and coding tools. Deliberately small and by application — write to us and say what you have been building.
17:00 – 19:00
Organisers' Kick-Off
A second core-team evening, two weeks before the kick-off - look at the roles the club needs, pick one that suits you, plan the first season together. Then we hang out.

The lounge is open whenever one of us is there to open it. Somebody always takes responsibility for the room and for the people in it.
