Agentic Engineering Evening
A monthly, practitioner-led evening on agentic engineering and coding tools. Deliberately small and by application — write to us and say what you have been building.

What have you been building since last time?
Monthly, about two hours — by application
No lectures, no fixed curriculum. Just people sharing what they’ve tried, what broke, and what surprised them. The format is deliberately light because the field moves faster than any one person can track alone — the point is collective sense-making.
This is the deep end. The AI Builder Nights are the open evening: one speaker, accessible tools, anyone can walk in. This one has no stage: everybody demos, it is for practitioners who already build with agents in their daily work, and it stays small. Starting out? Start with the AI Builder Nights.
This is a working group, not an audience. Everybody brings something each time: a demo, a finding, a workflow, a failure worth learning from. The group stays with the people who contribute; if you would rather listen, you are very welcome at the AI Builder Nights.
The group stays small on purpose — around ten people, twenty at the most, and one or two per company, so the room is a mix of hands-on people from different places rather than one team. Joining goes through a short application. Write to agentic@hagenberg.international and say what you have been building or breaking. That is the whole process.
Developers, students and researchers who use agentic coding tools in real work, from Softwarepark Hagenberg and beyond. In most companies that is one or two people - which is exactly why it helps to meet the others. You don’t need to be an expert, but you need to be building, and willing to show it.
The focus is applied and practical: maximising real value for the people in the room, whether that’s a personal project or a business problem. Academic and research perspectives are welcome as long as they stay grounded in something we can try together.
The immediate focus is day-to-day coding assistants, but this feeds a broader horizon. The biggest limitation of the exploding LLM market is a lack of correctness. By experimenting with agentic orchestration, tool use and standard protocols now, we’re exploring the integration layers needed for a much bigger breakthrough in generating correct code. We’re not just keeping up with the state of the art — we’re feeling out what comes after it.
The format comes from a concept Endre Szasz-Revai wrote in May 2026 together with Felix and Vlad, and the three of them gave the demos at the first evening. Endre owns the calendar and reads the applications. The evenings themselves are not his: responsibility for each session rotates, and somebody volunteers or is picked to own the next one before we leave the room.
Members can bring friends and colleagues, within the one or two per company, though warm introductions are preferred. Sessions are in person only. Notes and resources are shared afterwards so nothing gets lost.

The second session — carrying on the topics fixed at the kick-off, with new demos from the group.
The first evening of what became the Agentic Engineering Evenings — agentic coding with Cline, the stages of AI adoption, and coding with offline models.
