The first session of what became a recurring format. An intro round, three lightning talks, and then a decision about what the group wanted to be.
This evening ran under the name Software & AI Nights. What the group settled on that night — small, everybody demos, invitation by a warm introduction — is what the club now calls the Agentic Engineering Evenings; the Software & AI Nights name went on to the open evening with a speaker, now the AI Builder Nights.
What was shown
- Felix Oberhauser — agentic coding with Cline.
- Vladyslav Kravchenko — the stages of AI adoption, as a way of collectively working out where we are and where we want to go.
- Endre Szasz-Revai — OpenClaw, and coding with offline models, including the context problems that come with them.
What we decided
- Next session in six weeks.
- Everyone can invite others, including people from other companies.
- Ideally around ten people, twenty at the most — small enough that everyone actually talks.
- Materials get shared inside the group after each session.
